Elenatal is a dietary supplement for use before conception and up to the 12th week of pregnancy. It contains folic acid and the biologically active form of folate, calcium-L-methylfolate (Metafolin).
Folates play a role in the process of cell division and contribute to the growth of maternal tissue during pregnancy.
Supplemental intake of folic acid increases the level of folate in the mother's body.
A low level of folate in pregnant women is a risk factor for damage in the development of the fetal neural tube.
Conversion to the active form of folate can be difficult for some people. To ensure an optimal level in such people, the food supplement Elenatal™ contains folic acid and the biologically active folate calcium-L-methylfolate (Metafolin).
How this product works
The combination of folic acid and Metafolin® in the food supplement Elenatal™ is a rich source of folate for maintaining adequate folate levels in women who are planning pregnancy or are already pregnant.
Food supplement Elenatal™ contains zinc. Zinc contributes to normal fertility and reproduction. Elenanatal™ contains vitamin B6, which contributes to the regulation of hormonal activity.
