Neociticol OMK1 Eye Drops, 10ml, with Cytocholine and Hyaluronic, for Glaucoma

Neociticol OMK1 are eye drops with citicoline and hyaluronic acid intended for use in patients with glaucoma.

Due to the presence of citicoline, Neociticol OMK1 provides functional and structural support in restoring the integrity of cell membranes damaged by degenerative pathological processes.

Due to hyaluronic acid and its mucoadhesive and viscoelastic properties, Neociticol OMK1 can establish a favorable microenvironment for eye surface renewal processes in case of corneal and conjunctival epithelial damage, increasing the stability of the tear film and thus maintaining lubrication, hydration and protection of the eye surface.

The goal of glaucoma treatment is to preserve vision. Lowering eye pressure slows the deterioration of vision in patients with glaucoma and slows the progression of the disease. However, despite the effective lowering of eye pressure, the disease worsens in up to 45% of glaucoma patients.

For this reason, in addition to lowering eye pressure, the treatment is also focused on neuroprotection, i.e. protection of the optic (eye) nerve.

Citicoline:

- is an endogenous substance that participates in the biosynthesis of phospholipids of cell membranes of neurons.

– increases the levels of neurotransmitters such as acetylcholine in the central nervous system.

– reduces oxidative stress by stimulating the production of glutathione.

- reduces the release of glutamate and its toxicity to nerve cells.

– reduces damage to photoreceptor cells.

How to use

Medical product for use in patients with glaucoma as an addition to basic antiglaucoma therapy.

Usage: 1 drop 3 times a day

Note: The product must be consumed within 30 days after first opening.
