Beta -1,3 D glucan is a unique polysaccharide derived from the cell wall of baker's yeast. It is probably the strongest natural immunostimulant and immune modulator of plant origin, far stronger than e.g. mannana found in Aloe Vera. Beta -1,3 D glucan triggers an immune response in the body creating a defense system against viral, bacterial, fungal, parasitic and other pathogens. It is also a powerful antioxidant.

Beta -1,3 D glucan works in two completely different ways:

• stimulates the formation of bone marrow, and thus the production of leukocytes and platelets, which are the body's first line of defense
